All recycling bins will be replaced over the next six weeks, starting on the 9th of November 2020.
The new yellow-lidded bins will be the same size as the old bins and collections will remain fortnightly. The new bins will feature RFID technology that will help to target recycling contamination and minimise lost and stolen bins.
The bins will be swapped over on the day after they are emptied, residents are asked to please leave their bins out until the evening after collection. Please continue to do so each fortnight until the bin has been exchanged and ensure that you are putting your recycle bin out for empty every fortnight, even if the bin is not full.
